The Sofirn SP31 V2.0 (released in 2018) is updated from SP31 with advanced temperature regulation (ATR) technology, power indicator, XP-L HI LED, DTP MCPCB board (Thermoelectric separation Copper core PCB board), better anodized shell, better construction, and more stable performance with constant current circuit. It uses Cree XP-L HI LED, Smooth reflector and 1 x 18650 Li-Ion battery. The powerful emitter in this flashlight provides up to 1200 lm output, 12707 cd intensity, and a beam distance of 225m. The properly focused smooth reflector gives you a more cohesive hotspot and therefore throws further.
This EDC Tactical flashlight has 5 modes of lighting. The memory function will remember the last used mode. It has a strobe function as a self defense tool by disorienting the person it is aimed at. It has the SOS beacon function for an emergency situation. The SOS flashes Morse code so you can signal for help when needed. It is easy to carry including clipped to pocket, backpack, hat, purse and glove compartment or a lanyard around your wrist.
The SP31 V2.0 has a built-in low voltage protection (LVP) to prevent damage to the cell from over-discharge. The built-in thermal control adjusts brightness level automatically when the driver temperature reaches 60℃ to keep the light from overheating. Low voltage warning tells you when the battery is lower than 3.1 volts if the LED Red indicator (on the side switch) flashes rapidly when you turn on. Then please recharge the battery.

Operation:
1 - Turn ON/OFF: Single click of the rear switch
2 - Mode Cycle: While ON, single click to cycle from Eco -- Low -- Medium -- High -- Turbo -- Eco
3 - From ON, Press and hold 1.2 seconds to active Strobe, and one click again to activate SOS. It cycles SOS -- Strobe -- SOS. Press 1.2 seconds again to return to previous mode.
